Easter Weekend!

We headed to San Antonio early Friday morning to visit my folks.

We got there before they got off work, so we went to lunch with Nick and Jake (2 of Javier's oldest friends) I love those guys! Then we went back to my parent's house to introduce the dogs to my mom's newly adopted 4 kittens. DJ rescued them from Sea World, so their names are Clyde, Seymore, Schmedly and Dolly. I did not get any cute pictures of the kittens -- sad! By the way - they are all up for adoption, each has been bottle fed and now eating hard food :) 3 boys and 1 girl 2 boys and a girl are tiger striped and one little gray boy. They are very cute!! == Friday night we went to Jake's apartment again and played Poker with EJ, Mike and Jake! I kicked butt!! Here are a few pictures of those crazy guys! The girl is Melissa - Mike's Wife - she showed up after a party and Nick came at the end. The story to this group is fun - I'll share another day (or some with each picture)

Saturday: We got up and talked a bit with mom and dad then headed to Dunkin' Donuts!! Javier has been craving those for a while so we got them! Then we went to Alamo Music Store - that place was fun. Javier got new guitar strings (I will video him playing his guitar once he gets it back) We also found the electric guitar he wants to buy! We went back to my folks house for some more chatting then headed out to his parent's house. Too bad they weren't there yet, so we took the dogs out back and let them play!

Once his parents got back - we practiced lasso'ing! his grandpa was a champion in the Charriara (don't know how to spell - but it is Mexican Rodeo) It was fun!! I'll add pictures of that as soon as I get them uploaded :)

Sunday we got up and went out to see what Easter sales we could find. Didn't do much in the morning, but we cut more fire wood when we got back! I love cutting fire wood! Then i practiced more of the lasso - and hooked Javier 2 times in a row! woohoo!


All in all it was an outstanding weekend!
