& I don't even have kids yet!

This has been an interesting Dixie week...

Monday: Wakes me up at 3:45, I let her outside (does she want to go then? NO) but force her to go, but she does... then comes in ready to play! Are you kidding me dog! I go back to sleep at 5:00 to just get up an hour later... Thanks

Tuesday: my puppy let me sleep - thank you :)

Wednesday: Dixie wakes me up at 4:15... does not want to go outside, but their water bowl is empty - and she was thirsty! What the heck! so i made her go out anyway just so i felt justified in being awake so early.

Thursday: @3:30 she decided that there needed to be food for her (to NOT eat) in fact after I filled up the food (since there was water, she did not even look at the door to go out - that was all i could figure was left for her to want) I went to the bathroom - I was up, why not... and when I went to get into bed - SHE was on MY pillow out cold! DOG WOKE ME UP TO GET IN MY BED!

Friday night: Tonight: it was about 3:30 when she opened the door (I go to bed way before Javier, so I shut it until he comes in and he leaves it open... i always take one of the dogs with me to bed, usually Dixie but tonight JoJo was READY for bed when I went - and would not leave, so she stayed and Dixie stayed with daddy...) So it was 3:30 when she pushed through it & I hear Javier say "Dixie, come ON" I wake up... it smells HORRIBLE... Javier says, "I fell asleep on the couch and now there is poop everywhere!" Well, thank goodness the "everywhere" is only in the bathroom, but still HORRIBLE!!! The door was shut so she was not able to wake me up...

So now instead of complaining about Dixie waking me up and forcing me to get out of bed... I will NOW just do it - and NOT listen to Javier when he says "just tell her no and she'll leave you alone" Great Advice Honey -- NOT!


(Glad he learned his lesson too... he was not smiling when he was cleaning that bathroom mat! MUCH easier to open a door and let her do her business outside than doing a deep clean of our bathroom floors at 3AM!

It is now nearly 5... i NEED to go back to sleep - but can't... its going to be a long saturday!


She is so lucky she is sweet and cute... I LOVE my dog! (at least that is what I have to keep telling myself!)
