This wedding stuff is FUN

We are now about 48 days away from the wedding! YAY

I have been so lucky this far!! Susie and Sarah threw me a shower in San Antonio at the Beginning of October where I got to see some AMAZING people!!! Sarah hasn't sent me those pictures yet, but I'll post when I get them!

Two weeks later, Javier's Mom threw me a shower in Somerset. We got enough money at that shower to pay for the plane tickets to DISNEY WORLD!!! We were blessed the week before by my Grandparents and Parents to be given 7 nights at a hotel and 7 day tickets to DISNEY WORLD!!! What does this mean?!?!? yay honeymoon!!!

People have always said that when you get married gifts just pour in... it is sooo true! We no longer have a dining room - it is now the wedding gift room! (and i love it)

This weekend we went to our first and second sessions of Pre-Marriage counseling. I was very nervous to go to this, kind of out of privacy fears and what not, however - it is wonderful! Derek and his wife are fabulous and their son Fenix is SO cute!!! The have some wonderful things to teach us about marriage and life. My favorite thing so far is when he said, that when the two of us remain humble, life and love will flourish - it is so true... pride gets in the way of many aspects of life!!

We had to tell Derek what we saw as the other's weaknesses and strengths - it was so wonderful to hear those... and share those... It was fun that the things we admire most about each other are the same... caring, strength and intelligence... Derek and Rachel laughed at our answers since they were the same.


We are getting RSVPs in the mail like wild fire! yay!!! I am going to start sending out invitations to people later on so we can keep getting fun mail!!!


I can not believe it is already November - the last 3 months have flown by! I am getting more and more excited every day!
