update on a busy week

My best friend/little sister came into town last weekend on Thursday night! We had a blast, we spent Thursday at home, Javier grilled up some pork, Aron and Mary came over and we played a few fun games that night! Friday, I took off of work to go to the doctor about my foot that has been bugging me for a while - turns out my arch is falling because I have bad-cheap shoes. We talked about my weight and how I'm trying (the operative word) to loose -- and how I gained. I really did gain my weight when softball ended and I started drinking beer -- the combination turned out to be fun but not great. SO as I'm leaving the office, he says - verbatim "lay off the beer, take up smoking pot - no calories" Yeah I was a bit appalled ed, but it was humorous. So Suki and I left the doctor - laughed a lot - and went and bought me some good shoes :)
Friday night, we were all exhausted, so we made it a pizza/movie night which was super fun, except Aron picked the movies - he's a nerd!

Saturday Suki and I went to the Renaissance Festival with my mom, dad and aunt Jan. We had a blast -- Suki got hit on by this girl at one of the costume shops. Then her and I were walking down the path and this old guy yelled out "I'm tired of all these women with no men... where are your men ladies?" She turned and said that I had one but she was single, and I replied she's looking though - HA HA -- He then grabbed her had and heeree heeree'd and called out for all available young men to auction off Suki!! He started the bidding at 1 chicken... it was hilarious! There were 2 men and a lady all dressed in leather watching the whole thing, when this dude from a shop yelled out "I'll bid two cows!" it was awesome, the leather guy said I'll bid 3 cows, but my exes might not like where you live -- it was so funny! Then the announcer said that there were no men, so he opened up the bidding to the ladies -- the leather lady jumped out grabbed Suki and said "I'll take her" Oh man was it funny!
Then this little hobbit asked suki to marry him after he jumped up and scared her! OMG that was so funny
